Distillery TOurs
Our distillery is located in West Nashville and welcomes visitors year round. We offer guided tours, where you can see how we craft our whiskey from start to finish. Since we distill all of our bourbon right here – unlike most other distillery tours in the area – you will get to see the full process, not just barrels aging in a warehouse. The tour concludes at our tasting bar where you may sample any of our impressive spirits from our portfolio. You may also visit our bottle and gift shop during the regular hours listed below. davidson Reserve Blend Your Own Bottle Experience
Join us for The Davidson Reserve Blend Your Own Bottle Experience, a new sensory adventure for whiskey enthusiasts. Pennington Distilling Company’s knowledgeable staff of blenders, guide the guests through their personalized adventure of blending their own unique whiskey, bourbon, or rye from the aged barrels in our rick house.
We are excited to offer this fun and personalized experience of blending your own bottle to the Davidson Reserve lovers locally and to visitors from across the U.S. It's truly the ultimate in-depth experience for whiskey connoisseurs as well as a great introduction to whiskey novices.
The Davidson Reserve Blend Your Own Bottle Experience includes:
SAMPLING
Guests choose sample selections of Tennessee whiskey, bourbon, or rye that come from 6-8 barrels chosen by Jeff Pennington and Carter Collins. These variations are the basis for building each guests's personal blend.
TASTING
Guests taste each sample and record their impressions. The flavor wheel will assist in identifying notable tastes to build a flavor profile for each guest's palate.
BLENDING
Guests then blend their different combinations, building aroma, body, and finish into a personalized final blend.
BOTTLING
After designing the custom blend, a personalized bottle will await each guest at the end of the event.
This one-of-a-kind blending experience is limited to 35 guests and is offered the second Thursday of each month or a private booking through the special events department. The cost of $200 per person includes the “Blend Your Own Bottle” Experience, a self-guided distillery tour, catered dinner, cocktails, and a personalized engraved Davidson Reserve bottle. Guests may also purchase up to 5 additional bottles of their blend for $75 per bottle.
